L-citrulline ensures an improved pump during training. L-citrulline is a non-essential (conditionally essential) amino acid micronutrient that the body cannot produce in sufficient quantities on its own, especially during periods of greater exertion, which may require supplementation. Citrulline is found in large quantities in fruits, for example, watermelon. The synergistic combination of the amino acid L-citrulline with malic acid produces L-citrulline malate. Malic acid (malate) is an organic acid that occurs naturally (for example, in apples). It is recommended to take citrulline malate powder before training.
